As Nov 2 of this year, HGA will no longer be servicing the Hardware. It looks like Home Depot's own ISS team, Met Team, will be do the servicing. HGA will still service the Paint and Hardware Departments for how lomg no one knows.
For others and myself, our remain unclear. Rumors say that Home Depot will offer some us sweet deals and some others may be absorbed into the Met Team. Yet you know what they say about rumors.
In Home Depot these days, nobody can feel certain, so soon this road trip will come to a well deserved end.

A Team Got Fire
I went today to help in Union 2 Home Depot because a team of HGA employees got fired. And the reason they got fired, stealing company time. They took hour lunches, eventhough they punched out for a half an hour. The DM warned them to stop, but they ignored him.
But the irony of this, is they wanted to get him fire.

The Question of the Month
Will HGA loose their contracts with Home Depot? The rumors started flying about a week ago that HGA and Home Depot will part ways. One rumor states that will part ways in April while others in March and still others, February. Well all I can say, I haven't found anything to back these rumors, but I have found a website that could be at the heart of the rumors. This site can found by doing a Yahoo search using the keywords HGA and Home Depot.
This website seems to put up by a disgruntle HGA employee or someone from ProMarketing. The some date back to about May of last year when we started the teams, so that gives the inmpression that a disgruntle HGA employee maybe at the heart of this website.
But, I can say this, we will be around for a while because we have a lot Special Projects to do. Oh, before I finish, I have a little rumor for Dewalt reps, layoffs loom.

More Bad News
An employee of six years falls victim of Home Depot's new progam. A few months ogo Home Depot started a program to hire experience plumbers and electrians to help customers, and starting them $23 an hour. Well hired an eletrician $30 an hour and fired an experienced employee in the Electrical Department. The fired employee made way less.
Also HGA wamts to take away the Friday after Thanksgiving and gives us Columbus Day. Unbelievable.

Out with the Old and in with the New
A worker in one of the Home Depot stores told me something interesting. The management hired someone off the streets with no prior Flooring knowlege and gave him $18 an hour. This at time of cutting pack on three positions. Why not just give a person the job from one of the cut positions? Makes one wonder.

Double Work Day
We call this day double work day, and why you ask? Today we go to Watchung. This store makes a lot money because of its location. It sits right off of route 22 and Watchung has alot of high income people. But the store does not reflect the fact that higher income people come there. The store shows no upper class pristine. The have equipment in disrepairs and bath room that the board of health would shut down.
We often use mobile cart to print labels. These carts have printers that need repairs. The cart's printers have broken label guides, so the labels print out off center.
We had finished a project for one account. We had cleanout and repair bins. In this store we had three buckets of wrong product found in the bins. The three other stores we found only. We also repaired four bins.
Finally, someone told employee to packout merchandise that had been set aside for a reset. The reset will have a good time.
Lest I forget Acid Rain maybe coming back. The stores sit lack of attention while dilusional people make decisions.
